Anita Briem was born in Iceland. Anita Briesm, a Icelandic actor is known for her portrayal of Jane Seymour (the young woman who would later become the spouse to Henry VIII) in the TV show The Tudors. Also for her role as Hannah in the 2008 movie Journey to the Center of the Earth. Briem, who began her journey into acting at the age of nine years old at Iceland's National Theater, is best recognized for her role as Jane Seymour. She was a child actor in Iceland and was a part of the stage and on television. Briem was able to move to London at the age of 16 and took part in a play production in the New End Theater called Lenin in Love. Briem was accepted into the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in the year 19.
